Eddie J. Deano, CPA
Edgar (Eddie) J. Deano, Jr., CPA attained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 1992. He began his career working for a regional CPA firm in the New Orleans area. Through the twelve plus years working at this firm, Eddie headed up audit teams for several of the firm's clients as well as provided accounting, tax, and consulting services. When the firm established a branch in Gulfport, Mississippi in 1999, Eddie managed that office and its staff.
In 2005, Eddie made the decision to open his own firm, Eddie J. Deano, PLLC. He brought his experience to the firm and has worked with his clients to provide extensive accounting, tax, and consulting services. Throughout his career, he has experience working with construction, wholesale distributors, oil & gas, restaurant, legal, medical, manufacturing,, real estate and various service industries as well as non-profits. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Mississippi Society of CPAs. Eddie obtains 40 to 60 hours per year of continuing professional education and holds a CPA license in Mississippi and Louisiana as well as his insurance license to sell life products.
Eddie has served on several non-profit and chamber boards sitting as treasurer for most. He is most proud of his service in the Kiwanis Club of Gulfport where he has served as President, Treasurer and board member.
